The book presents case studies in a style resembling a professional commenting face-to-face on your game. It is hard to get anything else than technical knowledge out of the book, even though this is probably not the title's topic. Technical talk by a 9 dan is not the worst one might get, however, it is difficult to improve that way with less than many thousands of positional analyses. Of course, you could obtain hundreds of such books but some structure and didactic refinement would be a great plus.
